Through time a two stream of projects evolved;

vessels

The projects of vessels involves all floating/sailing vessels such as small to very large yachts, pilot vessels, fishing vessels, sailing yachts small to large, offshore, inland water cargo vessels etc.

The vessel projects are filed in a range: this ordering, which is a copy of a project naming like used on an old shipyard, uses length of the vessel, some letters for type of vessel and the year in which the project was started.

The usage of 3D software and its impact on the various shows and publications caused more and more projects which were not vessels, and some were even totally not shipbuilding related. Some topics are complete shipyards and production lines, pasarelle and gangway’s, container development, various complex calculations into strengths, house design, some surface practice on cars, ships parts like bulwark doors etc.

Over the last 5 years more then 20 vessel projects passed by, ranging in length between 8 and 245 meters.

The oldest 8 meter project was an old Dutch type vessel called ‘sloep’ or ‘vlet’ (some differences between the types) , this project was to digitize such a vessel – copy the ancient techniques and deliver a steel cutting package (files).

The mid range contains vessels of some 16 tot 25 meters in length, being small fishing vessels, pilot vessels and various yachts.

The longer range contains large yachts, inland water vessels (110 and 135 meters in length) and super size yachts and some offshore vessels, for which we were involved in various studies on existing vessels.
